Arve Haaland - Accordion/lead vocal Arve is the bandleader, and formed the group in 1993. His carreer as an accordion player started in the ground-breaking “Hole in the Wall” in the late ‘60s. In the ‘70s and ‘80s he played with 6-7 different bands right up to forming AHCG. In 2000 he also joined “Cajun du Nord”. A veteran of radio, tv and recording sessions, his accordion can be heard on roughly thirty albums.
	Elsebeth Krogh - fiddle/harmony vocal Elsebeth from Denmark needs no introduction to the cajun music scene. Having spent much of her time over there for the past two decades, she has played and toured with several of Louisiana’s finest musicians. As a leader of Scandinavian group; “Cajun du Nord”, she has recorded two albums, won an award and performed three times at the “Festival Acadiens”.
	Bjørn Tore Aasheim - guitars/harmony vocal Has played in various roots related bands in Bergen since the ‘70s; among them “Flying Norwegians” and “Hungry John & the Blue Shadows”. Made his own cd “Blue Stew” in 1995. Has made many radio and tv appearances at home and abroad and is an in-demand session musician. Also plays with another Bergen-based band; “Heimalanne'”.
	Gunnar Bergstrøm - drums Played the drums in two of Norway’s most famous bands from the ‘70s; “Hole in the Wall” and “Flying Norwegians”. Has been with “Arve Hålands Cajun Gumbo” since it’s formation in 1993. Is a veteran of countless sessions and radio and tv performances and also plays with Bergen’s own “King of the Blues”; Mr.”Hungry John”.
	Christian Øvreaas - piano/harmonica/lead vocal Christian is the youngest member and also the newest arrival to the band, joining in 2003. An extremly versatile musician he is already a long established name on the Bergen music scene. Known as much for his singing as for his abilities as a multi-instrumentalist. Despite his young age, he has already done a multitude of recordings as well as radio and tv appearances.
	Kjell Madsen - bass/harmony vocal Kjell is, along with Arve and Gunnar, a founding member of the band. Comes from the Bergen folk, country and bluegrass scene, and has played electric and upright bass on several sessions over years. Substituded as bass player ”on Cajun du Nord’s” tour in Louisiana in 2001. Has also made several radio and tv appearances.
